Bloxorz Unblocked — Play Free Online

Parkour & Obby

Bloxorz by Damien Clarke: tip a block across narrow tile platforms into the hole over 33 levels with soft, heavy and split switches and fragile orange tiles.

Bloxorz unblocked: play Bloxorz online free right here in your browser — no download, no sign-up, works on a school Chromebook.

What Bloxorz is

Bloxorz is a block-rolling logic puzzle from the Flash era, the work of Damien Clarke at DX Interactive. You control a rectangular block on a narrow platform of tiles. The block tips over as it moves, so it is sometimes standing upright and sometimes lying flat. To finish a level you have to get it into the square hole somewhere on the platform. Tip it off an edge and the attempt is over.

The version here is the original Flash file running through Ruffle, an emulator that lets old Flash games play in a modern browser.

Controls

  • Roll the block: the up, down, left and right arrow keys.
  • Swap between the two halves: the space bar, used only after the block has been split in two.

The game is designed for a keyboard, so a computer is the best way to play it.

Levels and passcodes

There are 33 levels, and later ones layer more pieces on top of the basic rolling puzzle. Every level shows a passcode in the top-right corner. Note it down and you can use it later to go straight back to that stage instead of starting over.

Switches and special tiles

  • Round (soft) switches fire when any part of the block touches them, whether it is standing or lying down.
  • X-shaped (heavy) switches need the full weight of the block standing upright on them.
  • Split switches, drawn like a pair of brackets, teleport the block to different spots and break it into two smaller blocks. You then move one at a time, swapping between them with the space bar.
  • Orange tiles are fragile. They hold the block when it lies flat, but standing it upright on one makes it give way.

Switches do different jobs from level to level, so watch what changes on the board each time you press one.

Tips

  • The small blocks left after a split are too light for X switches; only round switches react to them.
  • Keep orange tiles for moves where the block is lying down.
  • Write down passcodes as you go so a lost attempt in a late level never sends you back to the start.

Questions about Bloxorz

Is Bloxorz unblocked at school?

Bloxorz runs in an ordinary browser tab from rainbowobby.one, with nothing to download or install, so it plays on most school Chromebooks and work computers. If a network filter blocks the site, only that network's administrator can change it.

Who designed Bloxorz?

Bloxorz is the work of Damien Clarke of DX Interactive. It is a Flash game that now runs in the browser through the Ruffle emulator.

How many levels are in Bloxorz?

There are 33 levels. Each one shows a passcode in the top-right corner that takes you back to it later.

What does the space bar do in Bloxorz?

After a split switch breaks the block into two smaller blocks, the space bar swaps control from one to the other. The arrow keys move the block.

What are the orange tiles in Bloxorz?

They are fragile tiles. The block can lie across them, but if it stands upright on one the tile gives way and the block falls.
